What makes Casa Aviv an Adoro property?

CO-LAB designed the house as two parallel volumes, then shifted them apart so the building could keep the trees already growing on the plot. The whole house follows from that decision: oriented east to west to catch the prevailing winds for cross-ventilation, with north-facing skylights drawing indirect light into every room and soft shadows moving through the day. Inside, warm grey polished cement meets black terrazzo floors and charred cedar carpentry, and the furniture and light fixtures were made for the house by local artisans and in CO-LAB’s own workshop. The plan keeps the ground floor open — living, dining, kitchen, and two of the bedrooms giving onto the garden — while the upper level and rooftop hold the quieter spaces, so a household has both a shared center and private retreats.
